This person will be working on our Systems Operations Team, and should have aspirations towards growing into a Linux Systems Administrator role at a startup web company.You would be responsible for: * Supporting the technology needs of our NYC based staff. * Deploying new laptops and workstations. * Managing the health of our existing workstations and laptops. * Providing internal technical support. * Assisting our Linux Systems Administrators as needed. * Learning all you can!You should have experience with: * Windows XP/Vista and OSX ( 10.3 + ), including installing from CD, updating, troubleshooting drivers, installing applications, managing users in a non Windows AD environment. * Microsoft Office and other office suites. * Setting up email clients like Outlook/Thunderbird, and using them. * Networked printers, preferably HP and similar. * Knowledge of physical components of a computer(both desktop and laptop(PC and Apple)) and experience upgrading, replacing hardware components. * Ability to troubleshoot odd and random problems with applications and computers face to face with users. * Understanding of basic networking concepts including but not limited to: DHCP, DNS, Windows File Sharing, TCP/IP, MAC Addresses. * Familiarity with routers/switches/hubs/WiFi as well as ethernet. * Understanding of web server concepts, how to troubleshoot connecting to webpages.In addition, you should: * Be able to lift 50lbs. * Have some familiarity with server hardware.Big plus if you have some of: * Some familiarity with Linux operating experience. The Company:

Our client is a pioneering a new gaming concept and are looking to add an experienced .NET practitioner to their technical team.

The Role:

This position requires a senior .NET Developer who has extensive experience and very strong understanding of WCF and preceding technologies (Remoting/Web Services) and related .NET technologies. The successful applicant will be working in a small development team producing distributed client/server gaming applications. As a senior developer you will be required to mentor junior members of the team. The team will be supporting both internal and external developers with regard integration of the game platform. Experience developing TCPIP based multiplayer networking software using C#. Implementing Game specific server logic design and development to the clients game titles. Reporting and estimating development status within the team and documenting coding and design activities.

Candidate Profile:
-Experience with WCF and preceding technologies (Remoting/Web Services)
-3 years plus experience of professional client/server networking software development
-Expert level experience with C# and the .NET framework (including 3.5)
-Multiplayer Game and network logic programming experience.
-Prior Senior Developer experience

Working in their Delivery team, you will be responsible for all reporting functionality within their latest software solution. This will involve regular meetings with clients to define and advise on their reporting requirements as well as analysing current reports for clients and troubleshooting reports without the correct information. You will also be required to work closely with the development team to create customised reports as well as designing interface specifications between the clients HR and Payroll systems and the software.

We currently have an exciting position for a Learning Support Assistant to work in a Primary School in their Learning Support Unit.

You will be working one on one and with small groups of children, mostly with EBD, who will have been withdrawn from their regular classes for the time that they are with you.

1.To support children with EBD in a range of contexts, including individual tutoring, small groups, classroom support and informal situations.



2.To carry out formal and informal assessments of students.



3.To monitor and evaluate the progress of students regularly and to provide the necessary reports.
