We are a growing company looking for someone to work at our Soho headquarters and maintain our network and assist us in developing our filemaker database. We have 5 satellite showrooms as well as a manufacturing facility in Long Island with a variety of Point-to-Point T1s - Bonded T1s and VPN Tunnels between locations.
Networking Experiences Desired:
VPN Connections / Management
Cisco Pix / Firewall / NAT configuration
Cisco command line familiarity (proficiency not required)
Familiarity with HP Procurve products
Experience with voice as well as data networks
Server Experiences Desired:
Server Administration of Shared Applications
Familiarity with Windows / Mac / Unix Servers.
FileMaker Server Administration
LDAP or Active Directory Experience (desired but not necessary)
Application / Development Experiences Desired:
FileMaker Development
Strong understanding of database design and concepts
The ideal candidate will have:
Mac Familiarity - Apple XServes
Strong organization and prioritization skills
Strong logic and critical thinking skills
Ability to multi-task
Ability to effectively communicate with employees at all levels of the company.
