SUSHISAMBA RESTAURANTS SEEKS A MARKETING/DESIGN INTERN!!!!!
Are you looking for a great opportunity to grow with a rapidly expanding company?
We are an internationally acclaimed restaurant management group with locations in NY, Chicago, Miami, Las Vegas and Tel Aviv seeking an intern for the Fall Semester that will support the Marketing and PR department.
Description
You will be responsible for multiple aspects of our Creative Department. You will be exposed to the following: on brand standards, typography, advertising campaigns, menu formatting and guerrilla marketing.
Responsibilities:
• Collateral Materials- Assist in developing written and website-based promotional materials for SUSHISAMBA activities, design and general maintenance and trafficking of collateral, office documents, etc.
• Creative Techniques- Assist in develop and implement specific approaches to marketing SUSHISAMBA and special events with an emphasis on generating sales and website development. The intern will also be responsible to put together press kits, fact checking, running errands, formatting menus, scanning articles for the press book, administrative duties - printing, filing, formatting of documents, street promotions, research, updating website, participate in strategic and creative development meetings, offering input and providing written recaps to all respective parties.
Other duties may be assigned.
Qualifications
• MUST BE A STUDENT CURRENTLY ENROLLED IN COLLEGE/UNIVERSITY AND GET CREDIT FOR YOUR EXPERIENCE.
• Strong Design and Written Communication Skills
• Ability to work independently and complete assigned tasks within identified timeframes
• Basic Desktop Publishing and Website Management skills (i.e.: Microsoft Publisher, Adobe Indesign/Photoshop, Illustrator, etc)
• Positive attitude, flexibility and problem solving mentality.
• Willingness to provide public presentations in a variety of settings
• Desire to work in Marketing/Promotions/Communications setting with a wide range of individuals with diverse needs.
• All interested candidates must be able to provide design samples for consideration
