Summary:
This position requires a detail oriented ambitious individual who can work in a very fast paced environment and complete all assigned tasks in a timely manner. Using time efficiency and accuracy with daily tasks is a must. Prioritize the daily functions in Underwriting as well as maintain ISO and merchant relationships.
Requirements:
This position requires an individual with a dynamic personality from the merchant banking industry with a minimum of 2 years of Underwriting experience. Essential Duties and Responsibilities - included, but are not limited, to the following:
• Examine all new merchant applications ensuring all proper documentation is received.
• Reviews and analyzes new, pending merchant’s credit reports and business reports to assess potential future liability.
• Reviews all merchant underwriting packages to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Approves merchant accounts from underwriting due diligence
• Conducts due diligence reviews of all new merchant accounts using various internal resources.
• Validates the legal documents provided with all new applications using online publications and resources provided.
• Required to advise the Risk department pertaining to any newly boarded risky accounts.
• Deals with Operations to discuss escalated problem accounts, as needed.
• Provides reports and support to upper management, as needed.
Compensation: 45,000.00 to 50, 000.00 annually, depending on experience.
