Workman is seeking an experienced sheet metal mechanic for custom fabrication of light guage (18-24) ,
stainless metal products with traditional non CNC equipment .
We manufacture mobile food service equipment (hot dog carts, ice cream carts food trailers & trucks, custom cabinets and equipment .)
Individual filling this position must be able to work independently; doing cutting; layout and fabrication from shop drawings and or blueprints.
Since we are a custom shop, good problem solving skills a plus.
We are looking for someone who can take a job, and distribute accordingly to create a good work flow ending with a successful completion of a project.
This is full time (40+hr/week) position non traveling position
Candidates must show the will to succeed in small work groups, communicate with multiple levels of employees, and bring new ideas, an open mind, and cooperation to the company.
Candidates MUST:
- Have minimum 5 years sheet metal layout/fabrication experience
- Be experience reading blueprints and shop drawings
- Be experienced in, and able to demonstrate proper fabrication techniques, safety, and procedures.
- Speak English (bilingual a plus)
