Billion dollar global financial services conglomerate seeks degree with 6+ yrs (financial services a must) to oversee, execute and coordinate media and public relations. Manage media relations procedures for press and on-site reporters and broadcast/traffic media opportunities. Proactive in seeking new network opportunities with target TV stations for branding. Participate in conference calls and on-site marketing promotions, events and advertising. Contribute to strategic planning, operations and overall corporate positioning. Identify sales opportunities and other production projects. Implement new public relations programs and support corporate communications department. Liaise with marketing and investor relations. Occasionally work with government affairs to build awareness. Develop press materials and create and manage public relations tactics/strategies. Write and execute media relations strategies and communications plans. Oversee market intelligence / public relations desk and proactively seek opportunities with local and foreign correspondence.
