I am looking for a retired (or not retired) architect (or architecs) to act as my coaches.
I graduated from a school of Architecture many years ago but got drifted into retail business.
New York Institute of Technology Old Westbury in 1981. 4 years degree.
I worked a few years with a structural engineer before I opened my retail business.
I was inspecting major high rises in Manhattan to comply with the local law 10. I was like the spider man of Manhattan!
Recently I closed my retail store after 26 years ! I am looking to see what else I can do. It has not been easy!
This time I prefer to do something in architecture. But I am a little rusty ! That`s why I am looking for the
guidance of a few good architects to share their experiences with me particularly in Manhattan.
Since I have plenty of business experience I would like to handle the business part and do most
of the running around under the guidance of one or a few Architects. Maybe if necessary I aim at getting
my license.
I would even consider working on a freelance basis for an architect that may have too much to handle.
I think the energy, specially solar and the green projects may be opening a lot of new opportunities.
We can share the profits between a nice small group on a planned, organized and very smooth fashion.
