CLIENT FINANCIAL SPECIALIST

Scope/Responsibility

The Client Financial Specialist provides the bridge between Account Services and Accounting in order to give the utmost quality of work to the client. They are responsible for coordinating client financial matters, including but not limited to auditing vendor invoices, preparing back-up reports to accompany cover letters and the preparation of monthly invoices.

Specific Duties

• Ensure the agency has client approvals on every job

• Working knowledge of client contracts as it relates to client billing

• Track estimate versus actuals (WIP) for overages or approvals needed

• Reconcile outstanding charges against estimate billing and monitor work in process

• Monitor and close jobs in a timely manner

• Set up and manage monthly WIP meetings

• Work closely with other departments to ensure client is receiving necessary and accurate financial information

Position Requirements

• Two plus years of industry experience

• Previous accounting experience

• Detail oriented and able to handle many tasks in a fast paced environment

• Effective verbal and written communication skills

• Computer proficiency with Excel, Word and Outlook
