We are a unique, fast growing IT Consulting Firm. Our team provides consulting and support services to businesses and also delivers technology `concierge` type services to high-end private clientele.
For our clients, both commercial and residential, we provide complete systems services including design, setup and full systems monitoring. We also offer support services including Managed Services, server maintenance and desktop support, as well as full security services including firewall setup, encryption, user authentication and off-site backup. With a focus on working smart and doing the right thing, we strive to manage our client`s technology issues in a helpful, affordable and service-oriented fashion.
Customer service is critical for our clients.
We are currently looking for a highly skilled Technology Consultant / Field Service Engineer to join our team and help us support our client base. We are looking for an individual who is a problem-solver and has a proven track record of working within a team environment to successfully address challenging user computing issues, and is accustomed to leveraging technical training opportunities to improve their skills. If you have the experience and the desire, we`d like to talk to you.
This position requires dedication, persistence, follow-up, effective utilization of provided resources and unbeatable customer service. Candidates must be energetic and focused with a strong motivation to learn new technologies and management and maintenance processes.
This position involves day-to-day support of our client`s networking and systems needs and implementation of new LAN/WAN and server projects. Candidate should have a bachelor`s degree and a minimum of 2-4 years experience in technical support. A solid command of supporting Windows desktop environments including MS Office, email and other desktop applications is a must. Mac expertise is a definite plus! Candidate should also have a working knowledge of networking including setting up networks, troubleshooting connectivity problems, and some experience with wireless handhelds (BlackBerry, iPhones, & other Smart Phones). An understanding of Windows servers including Exchange and backups is a plus.
Job duties include utilizing our remote monitoring and management (RMM) tools and professional services automation (PSA) solution along with other service-specific tools and technologies to deliver onsite user support services, update service request information and collaborate and work with other staff and vendor support resources to resolve issues. Overall relationship management and the ability to coordinate required resources to respond to complex IT requirements are desired.
Candidate must also have excellent communication skills (both oral and written), customer service skills and be a problem solver. Must be detail-oriented, without losing sight of the big-picture. Candidate should have a high energy level, be able to multi-task in a fast paced environment, and like to work hard & play hard. Must possess a willingness to learn and adapt to new situations.
Candidate must have a valid driver’s license (although most travel will be via public transportation) and must be available to be On Call for Saturday coverage.
Candidate will spend lots of face time with high-end, executive-level clientele on both the commercial and residential side, and must be able to handle high-stress situations gracefully while juggling many open tickets. Should be able to work with little supervision, but enjoy working as part of a team.
