Network Administrator
.
The responsibilities of a Network Administrator include:
• Provide end user support, including, but not limited to, desktop support, email, telephone, and remote access
• Install, configure, and maintain Windows and Linux workstations and servers
• Troubleshoot hardware and software related issues on servers and workstations
• User account administration
• Workstation and server patch and application management
Skills and Abilities:
• Excellent analytical, problem solving, and customer service skills
• Good written and verbal communications skills
• Must be able to work independently and handle multiple high priority projects, as well as supporting functions simultaneously to make the best technical decisions.
Required Experience:
• Minimum of 3 years experience supporting a Windows workstation/server environment
• Active Directory
• Blackberry Enterprise Server
• Citrix
• Exchange Server
• VMWare ESX Server
Experience with the following a plus:
• Altiris
• Cisco networking equipment
• Linux
• SANs
• Sharepoint
Education:
Bachelor`s degree required
