Boutique Entertainment Company in NYC seeks an individual to be responsible for Accounting and all Office Manager Duties, reporting directly to the CEO and an outside Accounting Firm. This individual will be responsible for all sales invoicing, payroll and contracts, maintaining the G/L including A/P, A/R, as well as account reconciliation. Must have experience with QuickBooks, MS Excel, MS Word and Paychex Payroll.
Requirements:
Ability to work on your own in a multi task casual small company environment. • Strong organization, problem solving and communication skills • General business knowledge and extremely detail oriented • A minimum of 4 years Bookkeeping experience & a strong working knowledge of QuickBooks accounting software. • Heavy experience with bank reconciliations, payroll and general ledgers. • Weekly company payroll duties through ADP. • Answer phones and greet customers as needed. • Calculate, obtain authorization, and pay bills accordingly • Balance checkbook(s) and maintain accounts. • Perform the monthly bank reconciliation. • Analyzes and corrects errors in the general ledger. •Report to external CPA by phone and email regularly. Prompt payment of NYC taxes • Daily cash monitoring. • Perform Administrative tasks as necessary on a timely basis. • Timely arrival/departure from work.
