We are seeking PHD`s with life Sciences degrees for immediate open Medical writing positions for a Scientific publishing Giant. Please note that this is a full time, on site position. Please email all resumes in a Word doc for immediate consideration. Resumes will be reviewed This Evening, Dec 6...Interviews to be sched for Dec 7th. All interviews being held in mid-town NYC. These are long term temporary positions.
Responsibilities include:
-Write primary manuscripts, abstracts, posters, review articles, slide decks, and other related tactics for publication, presentation, or for client internal use
-Conduct literature reviews and develop outlines
-Communicate to the team any issues with deliverables or meeting timelines
-Address comments for authors and contributors to ensure medical accuracy, editotial excellence, and suppor of the strategic messages on a timely manner
-Annotate all reference materail used in the development of medical content to ensure fact chacking can be done efficiently and accurately
-Project Management of projects from inception to completion under supervision
-Track revisions and author/client comments throughout process in order to manage and complete follow ups
-Participate in author/client calls
-Communicate directly and clearly with authors/clients via email or phone
Requirements
Requirements:
-Understand the client`s objectives in relation to messaging and life-cycle management of the product
-Knowledge of the medical communication and scientific publication needs of the client
-Basic understanding of the legal and regulatory issues appropriate to publication panning
-Strong writing, organizational, and project management skills
-Sound working knowledge of Good Publication Practices (GPP, ICMJE, OIG, etc.) ethical, compliance, legal and regulatory guidelines and requirements related to publication planning
-Knowledge of the clinical trial process
-Knowledge of scientific processes and excellence in medical writing and editing
-Excellent project management skills
-Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
-2-4 years non-regulatory medical writing experience
-PhD Degree in the Life Sciences is required
Location: Bridgewater NJ
Compensation: $75 per hour
