Online fan based music company seeks a Junior Interactive Content Manager for an immediate long term temp position. This position has a strong possibility of becoming full time/permanent.
Major Responsibilities:
• Daily technical software support for customers and clients.
• Work collaboratively with Senior Project managers handling all technical content management responsibilities included use of proprietary content management software, digital content editing, encoding and preparation.
• Perform QA processes for online projects.
• HTML, Image editing, audio/video editing a plus.
• General computer maintenance for all office machines.
• Create mock-ups/wireframes of websites
• Define QA measures when managing the development of new projects.
Required Skills / Knowledge:
• Very strong computer and typing skills
• Must be detail oriented with the ability to multi-task
• Must have the ability to learn and master software programs quickly
• Strong writing, interpersonal and communication skills for communicating with clients and customers
• Strong decision making skills, self-motivated and goal oriented
• College degree required
Experience Needed:
• College grad with a minimum of 1-2 years professional or internship experience in online, web and/or information technology industries
• Experience in online media, content aggregation/distribution or content management systems
• Experience in online music distribution a plus
• Client or vendor relationship experience is a plus
Technical Background:
• Content management software experience required
• Basic audio encoding/editing and video editing knowledge
• Basic skills in CSS and HTML a plus
• Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
• Experience with all major social networking software content management systems (Facebook, MySpace, etc), web analytics solutions (e.g., Google Analytics)
