Our client, an international consumer products corporation, is currently recruiting for an experienced Distribution Manager for their Huntington, NY center. This is an outstanding opportunity to join an industry leader.
Role:
Overall management of busy distribution center
Provide training on work safety and policies to staff
Responsible for hiring based upon center schedule and needs
Coordination of delivery routes
Provide top notch customer service
Ability to handle challenging situations and personalities
Available to work peak hours during summer busy season
Requirements
2-4 years experience in a busy distribution environment
Knowledge of DOT regulations
Knowledge of safety policies
Proficiency in MS Office
CDL or the ability to obtain this license is a definite plus
Excellent time management skills
Supervisory experience a must
Location: Huntington
Compensation: 60-70k
