A leading securities trading company is seeking a
very strong C++/Unix software engineer with very strong analytical skills for risk management and trading system software development.
(Some Java development positions also available.) This company is an industry leading broker/dealer and proprietary trader with an outstanding reputation for advanced technology.

Our client is seeking software development expertise, financial industry experience is NOT required.
Requirements:
Expert C++/UNIX programming skills
Excellent analytical skills with a strong mathematics background
5 – 15 years programming experience developing complex in C++ on UNIX/Linux.
Highly productive programmer
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment is required
Java programming experience can be valuable for some positions
MS, PhD, or BS in Math, Physics, Computer Science, Electrical or other engineering fields, is required
Examples of successful applicants prior area of expertise.
Simulation software
development for the petroleum and other industries.
Electronic Design Automation (EDA) software development
Compiler development
Computational fluid dynamics, computational linguistics, and other computational software
