As Bid Manager you will be involved with compiling complex bids by working with the decent homes department of this nationwide contractor.
Your role will be to learn about the needs of the client organisation, look at the resources available to you within your own company and work with the other department heads to tailor how those resources can be best utilised to satisfy the needs of that client before communicating that within a bid. This role will include the following duties:
• Management of tender bid and pre contract activities
• Produce bid strategy and brief tender
• Enable correct net bid to be established
• Develop relationship with clients*design team and supply team
• Promote ideas for improving site efficiency and profitability.
• Asses viable alternatives*value engineering that could give competitive edge.
