Senior Engineer (Transportation)

Location: North West; Manchester
This is a support role reporting to a Principal with some direct project management responsibilities. The post holder will delegate project work to Engineers, Graduate Engineers and Technicians and will be responsible for coaching staff in these positions. In addition, the post holder will contribute to maintaining client relations and suggest ideas for improvement. Applicants should be educated to degree level and have at least five years postgraduate experience in a similar role, membership of relevant institutions and ideally have attained I.Eng. Or C.Eng. Status. Applicants should also have a working knowledge of: Department of Transport Standards. Transport Related Government policy documents (e.g. PPGs, Circulars etc). I H T Guidelines for Transport Impact Assessments. Processing and management of data. PC literate (including AutoCAD, Autotrack, TRICS, Arcady, Picady, Windows).
