They provide everything from timber decking, gazebos and street furniture through to large-scale timber bridges.
Project Estimator, (Permanent) Lincolnshire * Nottinghamshire Boarder
Assisting the following professions:

Contractors

All their solutions are performance guaranteed to be of the highest quality - as you would expect from one of the UK`s leading suppliers of external timber structures. Our client is now looking to recruit a Project Estimator who preferably has worked within the Construction Industry previously and having worked within the Timber Sector would be deemed as advantageous. The main stay of this position would be the following:
Responding to enquiries relating to project sales and technical information in a knowledgeable and helpful manner.
Liase with clients to generate specifications, designs and assist with scheme and product specific advice.
Accurately interpret Contract documentation, Bill of Quantities and client drawings.
Development of estimating function.
Research external suppliers for FSI Items.
Obtain supplier quotations.
Production of accurate project estimating*costing analysis.
Production of accurate Installation Quotation handover documentation.
Production of project quotations.
Contribute to research and development of new products.
Check drawings and cutting lists as required by design procedures
KEY MEASURES OF SUCCESS
· Accurate production of project estimates.
· Accurate production of Handover documentation.
· Accurate production of written quotations.
Experience
Min 5 years Construction Industry background
Previous Estimating Role
Design*CAD (interpretation only)
Previous Project Management*Coordinator role
Timber background
Quality Systems
Conversant with current CDM Regulations
Checking of technical documentation
· CAD knowledge
· Timber Process
· CDM knowledge
· Ability to interpret Industry standard CAD drawings.
· Understanding of timber within the construction industry.
· Understand the importance of CDM regulations within the design element.
