A Technical Design Authority is needed to take responsibility for detailed server infrastructure design and specification. These applications generally consist of Oracle and Java (BEA) applications running on HP and Solaris UNIX hardware. The architect will work under the direction of a lead architect and will be responsible for the detailed hardware specification, procurement and installation.
Description of project:
General Infrastructure Design (Storage, Networking, Unix)
Detailed server design and hardware build specification - skills on HP and Solaris hardware are not mandatory - if the candidate demonstrates willingness and ability to learn fast on the job.
Build, Test & validation.
Excellent communications skills (Need to liaise with numerous specialists). Excellent documentation skills (Ability to co-ordinate information and present in final format).
