Our Client, an interactive Media company based in Central London, is seeking a part-time Payroll Administrator for a 3 month temporary assignment. This position requires someone to start on 2nd August, with a one week handover around mid July whilst the Payroll is being processed. You will work approximately 20 flexible hours per week, preferably over 5 working days.
The role will involve; ·Maintenance & control of all payroll information (ES payroll) including processing fortnightly and monthly payrolls ·Adherence to compliance requirements of tax authorities ·Reporting to & liaison with the Inland Revenue for payroll issues ·P32 reporting ·Strict adherence to internal procedures regarding freelance staff ·Liaison with the payroll bureau to ensure timely and accurate payment of employees ·Fortnightly and monthly salary journals ·GAYE Administration ·Pension Administration
It is essential that you have a minimum of 3-4 years solid payroll experience preferably within a media company. You must also have a good knowledge of PAYE & NI deductions, Schedule D & current regulations. For success in this role you must be well organised, computer literate, have a high degree of accuracy, attention to detail and the ability to work to strict deadlines. Previous experience with Payrite software is desirable but not essential.
