Application Support Helpdesk Advisor required by our software house client based close to Huddersfield in Yorkshire to play a key role in the telephone based support of their manufacturing and distribution software. To be considered you must have 18months experience working as part of an application software support team logging and dealing with customer related queries. You must have Crystal Reports Writer experience (including totalling, sub totals, formulas, parameters, table linking), SQL Server and client tools including SQL Enterprise manager and Query Analyser and an in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Windows XP and Windows Server 2000*2003 including configuring ODBC datasources. As occasional site visits are required a full driving licence is also required. Any understanding of business processes (e.g. sales order processing, stock control), knowledge and experience of ERP*supply chain software and knowledge and experience of accounting and double-entry book-keeping would be an advantage.
