A professional and personable individual with strong team leadership skills required. The ideal candidate will have both experience and success at marketing within the construction industry and the ability to lead and motivate a department. Effective communication skills are important within this role as candidates will not only manage the marketing department, but also liaise closely with other departments and divisions. Job Purpose Work as part of a team together with senior management and Board in conceiving and delivering business, divisional, and departmental plans and strategies to take the business forward to actualise its vision of being the leading brand provider of construction services in the UK. Effectively manage and motivate a successful department, helping them develop for the good of the business as well as individuals.
Process Management and Reporting Lead the annual marketing business planning Create a sales and marketing plan annually Oversee divisional marketing and sales plans Create a draft template*guideline for a marketing and sales plan for each division to utilize, to encourage them to acknowledge the wider environment that affects the way they market themselves moving forward. Attendance of regular company infrastructure meetings Weekly team meetings to include agenda items such as divisional and board feedback, progress with tasks to date Attend regular sales and marketing meetings with each division and business unit (initiatives, actions, targets) ensure their requirements are acknowledged and that they are consistent. Produce monthly board reports for the board Resolve any issues where conflict or blockage may compromise chances of marketing`s success Analyse and re-enforce marketing process
Essential skills and qualifications
