Canary Wharf
c.Ј65-80K (dependant on experience)
This large financial services organisation is looking for an experienced Project Manager. This is a great opportunity for someone with very strong experiences to join a standard-setting company based in Canary Wharf.
If you are a dynamic and talented Project Manager with a proven track record of working in high-level, business critical roles for large Blue Chips, financial organisations or similar then this could be the vacancy for you.
This position would suit a determined and experienced individual who will stand out from the crowd and can step comfortably into an organisation with the ability to hit the ground running.
Candidates from an accounting background who have significant system implementation experience would also be of interest.
The successful candidate will take large scale responsibility for a significant project within the Finance; Planning and Analysis department. This will include responsibility for establishing and managing the Project Management Office (PMO) so candidates should have experience in this direction. Candidates will also be well versed in best practice for finance systems and resourcing projects. The role will require close coordination with the Information Systems (IS) department as well as the rest of the business so candidates should be confident in their ability to work with technical and non-technical colleagues.
Candidates demonstrably strong programme*project management skills will be enhanced by experience of process development, budgeting, project planning and reporting, Business Analysis and matrix management. The ideal candidate may have a professional accounting qualification and will have the gravitas to command respect from management and the wider organisation at all levels.
