Working for a long-haul tour operator based in the North West, this is an exciting opportunity for a travel professional to progress with a growing business. This position of Commercial Manager will be to oversee the product development and marketing of the tour operation.
The role will be to: -
- Contract new airline deals to complement the long haul product, along with negotiating commercial deals
- Develop ground product to meet business needs
- Analyse market trends and negotiate special deals with airlines and ground suppliers
- Contact tourist boards * suppliers for joint marketing campaigns
- Maintain business relationships with all suppliers
The Ideal Candidate will have: -
- Excellent experience within travel industry within the long-haul sector
- Good contacts with airlines, ground suppliers and tourist boards
- Experience contracting airlines and ground product, along with negotiating commercials deals
- Commercial awareness to drive business forward
