TOURS DEVELOPMENT CONSULTANT - West London - Ј20-25K
Good opportunity to join this leading operator within their European team
You will be responsible for quoting tours to Europe, growing relationships with clients and encourage sales. Duties will include gaining a clear understanding of clients needs via the telephone, prioritising each enquiry, planning the pricing strategy for each enquiry, accurately costing and producing quotations, confirming suitable accommodation, maximising the selling of optionals and extra services whenever possible, following up all quotations to pursue the sale, negotiate the best rates with non-contracted suppliers, develop new product ideas for clients etc
We are looking for someone from a similar background (account handling), ideally with experience of dealing with European tours, putting together quotes, and liasing with suppliers. You should have a proven sales background, and a very good knowledge of Europe. Any knowledge of a second European language would be an advantage
