This position is for Manager * Supervisor of a Travel Agent based in Colchester, Essex. Basic salary £20,000 - £30,000 + bonus package according to experience. 5 day working week 9am – 5.30pm (and alternate Saturdays – time off in Lieu). The successful candidate will have: - A minimum of 5 years experience within the travel industry (personal or business travel), Been well travelled and have good knowledge of the travel industry, Basic knowledge of Word, Excel and E-mail are essential as well as good written skills, Be confident, presentable, enthusiastic, determined to succeed and not afraid of hard work. Your passion and desire for the travel industry will help you succeed in this role. Duties involve: Keeping up to date on all the figures, forecasts, bookings and management of the agency which will include front desk work dealing with clients when other staff are not available and the management of 3 staff. This role will also include Business Development * Sales, Marketing and driving the business forward, it’s a very hands on management role – the successful applicant should be willing to role up their sleeves and get involved with all aspects of the business. This role could lead to a possible profit or company share for the right person!
