Kaplan Test Prep and Admissions is looking for a Housing Specialist to advise and interact with students in our housing program offering advice and solutions to their housing concerns and needs. Assist in recruiting new host families to participate in our program.Responsibilities:Assist with student housing placements by working directly with the customer service team to coordinate reservations, payment and additional services for students.Work closely with vendors to ensure excellent service to our students.Generate and maintain weekly reports relating to the daily and weekly operations of the housing office.Advise, counsel, and guide international students. Help students understand rules, policies and procedures of their accommodation. Work with counterparts in other centers to resolve student housing needs.Assist with orientation for incoming students. The Role:

The role is to involve the setting up and maintenance of SQL databases. The role will involve the following primary tasks:

-Establishment of internal and external database solutions
-Assist in product solutions design and implementation
-Database installation, fine tuning, backup and redundancy
-Creation of document procedures and infrastructure

Candidate Profile:

You are likely to have around 2 years of professional experience as a Database Administrator, setting up and maintaining SQL Server Databases. You should also possess experience in: UML design, Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Linux, SQL Analysis Services.

Salary/Additional Information:

The salary for this position is ?20,000 - ?30,000 per Annum, depending on skills and experience. There is also the opportunity to grow within the role and to learn new technologies.
