The Role:

This role involves contacting decision-makers and existing customers by telephone ensuring that they are aware of upcoming events and at the same time sell the services to them and secure their interest. This is not a typical "cold calling" role as you will work within an existing database. However, recognising potential promotional and sales opportunities is a crucial part of the job. You will also contact incoming enquiries from prospective customers and sell the benefits of the service to them. You are expected to be on the phone for at least 3 hours a day. Furthermore you have to work between 3 to 4 events per month for which a full briefing will be given beforehand.

The Role:

The position will include the following key responsibilities.

- Liaising with the Finance and Legal department.
-Dealing with financial enquiries.
-Ensure compliance with group policy regarding approval and acquisitions and disposals
-Ensure assets are capitalised when brought into economic use
-Complete monthly/quarterly schedules and reports within the deadlines required.
-Implement a rolling program of asset verification and support the plant controllers
-Monthly reconciliation of profit or loss disposal
-Liaise with auditors when needed to provide evidence for fixed assets valuation in the balance sheet.

Candidate Profile:

Candidates must be fluent in English to mother tongue level, or equivalent. Additional language skills could be an advantage. The successful candidate will be degree educated in ACCA or CIMA or part qualified or equivalent European Finance degree. An eye for details, well organized and have an ability to work under pressure as well as customer service skills are essential for this role. Excellent IT skills in Excel and preferably also in SAP or Oracle. Experience in US GAAP and SAP Fixed asset module would be highly beneficial.
